Yeah it'll be cool to get the Maxim EX-2's so I can show the evolution (see what I did there Daulton lol). My Maxim EX-2s will be satin black with gloss black barrels and stainless hardware so it'll be neat to show how the subtle difference from monoblock to 2 piece can change the look of the wheel.
Don't apologize for being proud! That is awesome Mark! So cool seeing a teenager enthusiastic about manuals in this day and age, especially a female teenager! As a male, I always found it so attractive when a woman would come into my life and she knew how to drive a manual with confidence and...
Its interesting you made this post Thomas, as I too have been debating back and forth with these exact same options.
I love my Supra and it is my first introduction to BMW's. I love the B58 but the S58 seems awesome and is something I would love to have. While I don't love the gigantic kidney...
Are these pictures you took in person or pulled from online/social media? If they are yours, whats your opinion of the redesigned front bumper in person? In pictures it looks like the nose slopes down way too quick and in my opinion makes the front look too flat. I actually prefer the OEM nose...
Daulton! SO glad Variant has an account on this forum now!
Here are pictures of my Maxim's in Satin Black!
Fronts are 19x10 +26 fitted with 265/35R19s
Rears are 19x11 +37 fitted with 305/30R19s
Maxim EX-2's on the way ?
Yeah you're right, with the new wheel design of 2023! That's more what I meant! Thanks Bryan! If I remember correctly, the split 5 spoke OEM wheels of the 2020-2022's aren't though, right? Or were those forged too?
On a related note, I have had better luck with less spinning in the first 3 gears with a better, wider, stickier than stock tire in the rear (Michelin PS4S, 305mm width)
Wheels are such a preference thing but I would stay away from cast wheels.
Flow forged/hybrid forged etc are perfectly fine for our cars. Especially for a street application.
I have a fully forged wheel but that's because I liked the particular design of these wheels and got them at a price...
I guess my questions are:
1.) If you're not going to be beating on the car, tracking it, dig racing, roll racing or any sort of performance driving and its just a weekend street car, what is the reason for wanting to bump the power numbers to 750-800whp?
Just so you can say you did and that...
I have a friend with an absolute zero Supra that had his wrapped in matte Xpel PPF and it looks great. Can't comment on how it compares to the burnout because I haven't seen his car next to a burnout car side by side.
I'm a fan of PPF over vinyl and since your car is already white, might as...
