I had added the JB+ and had a lot of questions as to why I went that route. After a week of using it, I wanted more, so I looked into the JB4. Here is a video showing the JB4 installed, talking through the pieces of it, and the maps that are available and the ones I've used.

It's not all Bimmer Code, it's anything in the Body Domain Controller. You can access and make changes, but when it attempts to code them you get an error code.

As soon as the weather clears up today I'll be heading out to get a video of the updates, now that I'm also running the JB4 with the BT and EWG add ons.

I am currently running firmware 18. I went up to 285's in the rear, but still not enough, they break loose all over the place!

Today I installed the JB4 with EWG and Bluetooth connector and set it to map 3 for some logging. After review looking to play with map 5 and some e blends (E30 most likely). Where do you go (what app) to see fuel quantity remaining in the tank in gallons?

I added a JB+ boost tuner from Burger Motorsports. I set it to the max of 4.5 lbs of boost over stock.

So since the ECU on my car is locked, I decided to give the JB+ a try. I've also decided to use this through the winter, in hopes that come spring the ECU will be unlocked by someone and tunes will be available. If not, I can upgrade to a JB4, and get the cost of this one applied to the JB4...

Mine is not the stock one. It is a Rexpeed one that I ordered as soon as I found out they weren't going to be coming with them.
