I replaced my wooden rear pads today with the PowerStop ceramics. Very simple to do. I forgot to mention that BMW has the filthiest pads I have ever come across. I've owned many cars and I can make that statement.

It's not difficult at all. If you have done your own brakes before there are no surprise's. There are video's out there to walk you through it.
