If the Premium had the option for Alcantara seats, I'd take the Premium in a heartbeat! I just got back from 2 dealers (Ontario and Quebec), a 2025 base MT is on order only, so they should arrive by June 2025. Not one order has been placed for that spec yet.

Great points! I'm sold on the base, mainly because of the seats. I drive a truck, so I'm not worried about navigating a Supra in tight spots, I already do that with the RAM on a daily basis. The sound system, I'd have to hear it to be honest. Most Lexus IS owners swear by the Mark Levinson...

Toyota.ca is showing the base manual as an option. I'll find out this week if dealers can actually get it though.

What are your wheel specs? Any rubbing?

Renaissance Red 2.0 is what I want, so it works out great. I'm not interested in any other color. I'm seeing the dealers with Premiums in stock (auto and manual) but they're not moving and the prices are dropping on them. Thanks for the BSM info!

The Alcantara seats is one of the few reasons why I'm considering the base model. And the 8k savings could go towards lowering, exhaust and intake. I mean if the screen and the front brakes are the same, then I'm going to aim for the base model.

I don't mind having either or. It's actually the rest that I'm more concerned about haha!

I have leather in my IS and it was not bearable without the vented option. Alcantara, I've had before (Recaro seats) and they don't heat up (or very little) in the summer time, which is why I asked about them.

That's a lot of differences...
