Yes. My car is dedicated to the track. Track brake pads choices on the smaller rotor size are very limited.
For street driving the small rear rotors are just fine.
Thanks!
Apparently the 2025 base model MT have the same rear disc/calipers.

i understand the price savings and you claim you only want red but, do you really want to have one of the only "base" model canadian supra's whenever it comes time to depart with it? i feel like you're going to take an absolute beating on loss of value considering that pretty much every other supra in canada is going to a premium model all things considered.

you also say you won't be tracking the car which leads me to believe your driving pretty much solely on the street so you will want the blind spot monitors and the parking sensors. They really help when navigating the long nose of this car around tight parking lots/garages etc...

the premium sound system is already not mind blowing in terms of sound but good enough i can't imagine downgrading that any further if you were to get a base model.

just a good quality stereo upgrade by a professional shop would run you the entire price difference between a base and a premium alone and you still wouldn't have any of the other comfort features like adaptive cruise.

in my opinion it's better to have it and not need it, vs need it and not have it. sometimes it's nice to be able to use all those toys on a 9 hour drive to tail of the dragon and be able to shut them all off once i get there! just my advice from a canadian owner but you can do as you please.

Great points!

I'm sold on the base, mainly because of the seats.
I drive a truck, so I'm not worried about navigating a Supra in tight spots, I already do that with the RAM on a daily basis.

The sound system, I'd have to hear it to be honest.
Most Lexus IS owners swear by the Mark Levinson system, yet you can't tell the difference between that one and the base model unless you're listening to Celine Dion all day long...

One thing that I'll regret not having is the HUD. I think it's cool, but small price to pay to get the seats that I want.

As far as resale value goes, it's MT to start with, so who knows if that alone will make it be worth more than all the AT around (wishful thinking haha!), but I'm keeping the car.
I'm not getting it with the thought of "oh, this might be worth something later down the road".

i wouldnt turn down a whole suite of extra features just for suede seat centres but you will enjoy the car either way! 8k price savings is pretty attractive so i don't blame for going either way! good luck.

too bad my local dealer had a manual red 2024 premium sitting for the last few months that JUST sold! :(

If the Premium had the option for Alcantara seats, I'd take the Premium in a heartbeat!

I just got back from 2 dealers (Ontario and Quebec), a 2025 base MT is on order only, so they should arrive by June 2025.

Not one order has been placed for that spec yet.

Pay ~$8k + aftermarket seats, just to get rid of the leather seats...the math isn't adding lol!

Just an update, 3 dealers today are willing to let a Premium MT go for the price of a Base MT...
Now the math is starting to make sense haha!

I have to check for aftermarket seats :)

They are just covers on the same seat frame. You could swap them out.

That sounds like something that's easier said than done...

I have a base MT w/ tech/safety pack, it’s basically a premium without a hud but has alcantra seats. I freaking love it

And you got it in blue!
Only color option for base in Canada is red.

Easier than finding aftermarket seats with airbags and heating that work with the car.
Has anyone done this swap? or you're implying to get the seats restitched with another material?
