I have a 2025 Red Premium delivered in about a week. Only 1,700 miles. Previous owner was a late middle aged man that traded in for a new Corvette.

Anyway, it’s bone stock. Cool. What do you think the reliability on a 1-10 scale should be on a Supra that’s not modded and not taken to a track, to extremes?

Anyone been running a stock one?

Should be 9.5/10. Modding is the fast way to unreliability in most cases. It's proportional of course.

Thanks, Phil. I’m upgrading from a 2016 Mazda 6 and the Supra should be a rocket ship compared to that.

Meaning, I’m not planning on doing any mods.
Wise move. I mean I've got a few mods like conservativly sized wheel spacers and a shift knob.Things like that are fine reliability wise as is most cosmetic stuff. Biggest issue with cosmetic mods is either the fit or the quaity of the part and often as not both. Most stock Supras make over 380 hp at the wheels and seriously if thats not enough for you on a 3300 lb road car with the policing we have these days in the western world then you need to have a think about what reality is I reccon.

Have owned 2 Acura oldest 18 years, 5 Honda including S2000 oldest Honda 20 years and the supra has been at the dealership for repairs longer than all them Honda/Acura combine. Spend 3 weeks at dealer ship for oil pump. Supra is the first european car I owned. I bought the Toyota 10 years/100k miles warranty. First warranty on a car I ever bought. 2 years of ownership with Supra and biggest money pit so far are tires, not repair. Those michelin pilot 4s are not cheap, rated for 30,000 miles but truely last under 8,000 miles.
when you get the Supra, take it to an alignment specialist with slight toe in.
oh, welcome to supra ownership!

Not a Corvette.
I have a supra with double the oem power with 70+ track events, 2,500+ laps and 56+ track hours and the only things that have failed are aftermarket (turbo) or from my own doing: Transmission slipping from running that much power. It's been the most reliable track car I have owned over 20+ years of track events.

I beat the ever living crap out of it and run non factory oil spec (don't tell ChatGPT BoomerBlob).

Yes, I question reality every day. What fun would it be if you didn't, and how small and closed would your mind be?
