Have put in a few calls to a few inland LA dealerships, got the same response from a few of them: no waitlist and they won’t have more information on pricing until August.
Somewhat surprised how close the base Cayman is to the Supra, I thought it would be closer to the Cayman S. Regardless this is still a lot of car for a lot less money.
Agreed, hopefully Toyota sees this and gives more allocations to dealers that don't charge over vs those who do. It's definitely priced at a sweet spot and Stealer markup can easily kill this car.
Dealers won't get their Supra info, allocations and training until late June so it's gonna be sometime in July; how much earlier that is than July 22nd is anyone's guess.
It also likely means any dealer that claims to have ordered or secured configurations of Supras haven't even been taught how...
Every single one is a launch! These are production vehicles, boys!
My salesperson at Longo told me they are waiting to have enough at port to send one to every dealer at the same time so it might still be a little bit of a wait between now and then.

New CarPlay looks promising, nice split screen layout... who’s gonna notice the BMW infotainment system when CarPlay has everything you need? ;)
