Most good tuners will limit the torque in the higher gears to save the transmission. IMO for the money I would go Flex Fuel/DP/Tune to get 500hp/500+tq. I'll probably upgrade the turbo eventually when the warranty is up. :D

all pretty much the same. I just prefer the nicer flex pipe instead of the mesh ones.

it is my understanding that many of the bmw b58 models use the OEM supra HPFP as an upgrade. Not sure why the bmw models didnt get it.

Downpipe w/e50 Ecutek 500+ whp/tq can be done on stock turbo w/catless dp. With a catted dp and e50 I made 480hp/540tq on e50 with Mikey Botti tuning. I could go 500hp and more tq switching to catless but the car plenty fast for me.

No regrets buying my 2020. Once tuned the 40hp difference seems small to me.

If you come across a deal on 6 port pure turbo, it wont hurt to jump on it... But I think piggyback and a downpipe will feed your need for the time being. Find a used JB4 or titan protune and enjoy it and you wont lose too much while you wait.
