Id be hesitant to try and use a piggyback with an upgraded turbo with the main concern of adding more fuel. Id wait till the 21 ECUs are cracked before moving to the pure turbo.
my catted dp still has a smell so i guess it depends on the brand catted DP.
Also i'd consider tuning on e50. I've noticed the ethanol smell is a little better than a pump gas tune.
ouch, been seeing more and more on the FB groups with 21 models using oil. What was the mileage? I also have a buddy that works for the Toyota distributor and him and another coworker have needed to add 2 quarts in 5k miles.
Just to add another option in the mix. Ecutek with Botti OTS map can be had for $1k

unfortunately the OBLinkMX+ adapter will not work with any of the tuning software.
If you are considering tuning and want the flexibility and max power hands down Ecutek.
Ecutek themselves do not offer OTS maps, but the pro tuners like Mikey Botti have their own OTS Ecutek packages that you...
But then theres.....
Port Injection $2k
Flex Fuel $650..
upgraded axles to handle torque $2k
pure transmission to handle torque $3.5k
so it adds up quick.
Just saw another guy with a 2021 with downpipe only went 11.7, which seems pretty quick. I'd guess you're mid 11s. should be a fun run if he's on pump gas.
i would try and buy the cheapest car you can find new if the warranty is the same. 700HP takes the same mods either way if its a 20 or 21. $6k difference is huge IMO, but I would make sure your option packages are the same and also if you're considering the 21 check the ECU date if you are...
being that the 800 is right around $2400 it’s probably a few hundred more being stock location turbo. Keep in mind you still need port injection to attain these numbers
Depending on how much power you want, What Ben says is correct. There are plenty of pure800 turbo cars pushing 700+ with port injection for a factory location turbo. For $2400 its hard to beat the pure setup which would still put down low 500s on stock fuel.
I used a 75mm stud. From what I've read these are only good up to a 12mm spacer if I decided to run one. There are 80mm and 90mm studs available online as well. Bought these on eBay but Motorsports Hardware has a few of the options.
