Its perfectly understandble why some here are disappointed that its Auto only... those who want auto, you guys have to understand why people want manual... have some sympathy lol
its a Z4 with a different front bumper and rear lamps?
Man...
If it comes with 5x120 wheel studs will be another strike for me...
Dammit. It better be all wordly in its driving and performance.
Now, Im interested if they'll bring back the 86 with a turbo 4 and Manual!
Based on Toyota's current bumper designs... this is very close. But I would imagine the air dams wont be open like that. It will have grill patterns covering it. I used to engineer bumpers for an OEM automotive giant ;-) and global regulations require maximum openings at the front... Not only...
am I reading some posters dissing manual?
its not all about speed or performance when it comes to why people want manual....
manual allows the driver to be in more control and its the experience of shifting gears thats accustom to any pure driving pleasure.
Looks wise I know it will be fine...
But if no manual and 2 seater only... and euro stud pattern (5x120 stud bolts)... I might as well just buy an M2.
I can do 2 seater if it has manual and JDM wheel studs... I have wheels from older cars at my storage. 2 seater is fine as I love my MR2 SW20...
In Australia, the amount of seats definitely affects insurance.
Even if the car had 100hp, with 2 seats only, it will be higher than the standard 4 seater/4 door cars.
Looks good. BMW buyers would flock to it... well the ones with more money than the average BMW buyer anyways. Maybe next to their M2 or M3 or 330i Wagon or even 5 series.
This is one of my fears... on top of the AUTO only transmission.
The BMW Wheels are PCD 5x120....
Which means wheel selection from Japanese aftermarket wheels are already limited. 5x114.3 is what I was wishing for so that I could use a couple of my older Work wheels that I've kept from...
