Might have to add this one. Currently have a 1500rwhp build going on, for a 350z, and daily a G37s. Good too see Nissan coming out swinging. Wonder where the weight will come in.
I've seen different taillights on the models, is that to do with trim levels? Or just earlier mules?
The black wheels have more of a motorsport look(higher trim?), compared to the others that have been shown.
Agreed. My friend is an engineer for the TechnoFirst team in Japan. They switched over from the 350z/370z platform to the RC350. That was one of their main concerns as well as the firewall being weak. I was hoping for a more lightweight variant, but didn't come to fruition. Maybe the next model...
Good amount of people was cried because of high price/no manual option. Now a GTR base is even more than when it came out in 09. Then they slowly stopped caring as much and just took the car as it came. Which I feel may be the case for the Supra. If it's tunable, then it really doesnt matter...
I'm taking MX5/Miata vs Supra prices/power, since this is a MKV thead, 25k then or 32k for the Miata might be a fully loaded one then, since I just went for MSRP. Regardless, the Miata is still cheaper than its competitors, so why would the owners/potential buyers cry, when they can't get...
94 Miata ~$17k / 128hp
18 Miata ~$32k / 155hp
94 Supra ~$43k / 320hp
19 Supra ~$63.5k* / 335hp -380hp*
The Miata almost doubled in price for 55hp in the same time frame. There's no out cry because the Miata is still cheaper compared to other sport/sporty cars on the market.
I might throw some Advan gold wheels in the mix, but I'm with you 100%...now just give us a dang motor that will perform and be fun to upgrade, I'll put a deposit down when they start taking them. Speaking of we need to get a dealer list of who will be worth doing business and not trying to bend...
Looking at the two, it just looks like they took out the back seats, making the GT into a 2 seater sport car. The gap between the door and rear wheel arch, is the main area I'm looking at.
