If Lexus is bringing a twin turbo V6 that makes 400hp in their IS next cycle, surely Toyota is going to bring more to the table, they have to. I dont see how they can imply the Supra is their halo sport car, yet makes less than the lowest model Lexus.
I'm hoping for 400+, even at 380hp I'm...
From what I remember is, Toyota saying something that GRMN will be in Japan and in the states TRD would still be used. Since TRD is already known here in the states. This was when GR was first talked about. Now if that happens or not, I dont know. It will be interesting to see, to say the least...
A good driver and fast car haha. I did it in 10 mins last year when I drove, but I was in civic screaming for its life.
I bought a 2003 Evolution 8 when they first came to the states. Car was waiting on me, when I got there. First weightless white in Fayetteville NC, while I was in the military.
I think so. Could explain the different wheels and brake options we have been seeing. GR Sport on the GT86 comes with Brembos and aesthetics, so I wonder what the next two tiers would bring on the GT86.
Have to agree. That's probably one of their agreements, to let BMW show their Z4 and get pre-production sales, before Toyota puts their specs and production Supra out to see. This wait feels a lot longer than it really is. Just glad it's not another 10+year outing like the LFA.
I doubt it, even the MKIV, adults in the back wouldn't have really worked. The few times I've had to get in the back, I had to sit sideways. So, if it was made with a +2, it's just enough room for smaller people(kids and vertically challenged adults). I mean there are plenty of 2+2 couples out...
I think it would look like that, had they stayed with the GT 2+2 frame work. I kind of feel like we are getting a Supra name, but maybe influenced more by the 2000GT. Just my opinion.
