oh I agree that is another aspect to consider...I'm just using this as a point of reference and certainly wouldn't follow blindly without taking other variables into consideration...That said, while the BMW underseat sub dimensions differ from ours, they are ported as well...I did find it...
Been doing some research lately regarding direct replacement woofer options and not surprising I found quite a bit of info on the BMW sites...Our OE woofers in the Supra have the same woofer frame dimensions as those used in BMW underseat subs...
One item that caught my interest is where...
Ha! No worries...and thanks!
Yes, I am a retired Engineering Exec (telecommunication systems) and have enjoyed Audio design as an interest / hobby over the years...As an Engineer I kinda enjoy identifying and solving problems and improving on existing designs...
To Summarize...
Here are final results using a different Real Time Analyzer App which shows the Supras' audio system frequency response from the drivers seat and where the Equalizer needed to be adjusted to in order to achieve these results...I was very pleased to see how uniform the frequency...
Update: (added to first post)
Getting rid of vibration noise and distortions is like playing wack-a-mole...After doing the doors, which helped improve midrange response quite a bit, the tweeter resonant vibrations then became more obvious and was something I had overlooked...After some...
I thought this might be useful for those interested in how to set up the sound system equalizer to optimize sound quality...The EQ setup and results shown in the linked thread below were done after implementing some much needed design improvements to OE Subwoofer System...

Yes, I know Alcantara is a brand which is the material referenced in the A91...And I've seen and have had experience with Alcantara as well with a few different variants...Still not a fan of any of them for the reasons I posted...I can't stand that material...
But as long as your pleased with...
IMO 15/18 would have far too much poke on a stock suspension and look a bit off appearance-wise...Also if you decide to go with this much poke make sure your rockers and lower rear fenders are protected as the paint will wear fairly quickly due to road rash....
I went with 13 / 15 (stock...
I agree....
I've had and absolutely hate alcantara seats...Yeah they may grip your body better, but in a relatively short period of time it begins to show some wear and starts to "pill" in places...Alcantara also holds lint and dirt and stains fairly easily and requires far more cleaning...

Feel the same...
Not sure what I'll be driving by 2023 but I do replace cars every few years...For now I'm still enjoying my Supra quite a bit and really not feeling any FOMO over the 2021...I've owned many 1st year model sports cars over the years and there is a excitement I really enjoy with...
The difference between the 2021 A90 premium and 2021 A91 special edition are just some cosmetic changes....Similar to what Toyota did with the 2020 LE to make it "special" to justify added cost...
exactly!
The thumbwheel does work after coding dim variant but I always keep both the display and thumbwheel settings at max and haven't felt the need to adjust brightness regardless of day or night....
The thumbwheel brightness adjust still functions on mine after I coded the display brightness change...And yes the display screen is way brighter after the change was made...
With your car parked the garage and lights off try using the thumbwheel and you'll see that the thumbwheel does indeed...
I coded the head unit brightness awhile ago as it was way too dim and not visible during the day....I'm still able to control both head unit and cluster display brightness using the thumbwheel control...Coding the headunit had no impact on brightness of the instrument cluster which I found to be...
