I money shifted once the first few months I had the car. The B58 and the low end wide open throttle in 2nd gear…so much torque, the chassis twisted coming off the line. Seriously though, mine was from 2nd to 3rd and I accidentally went into 1st and quickly took it back out to neutral. The B58s...
As someone who grew up with manual cars and 90’s jdm cars, the auto rev match in the MKV is likely a notch better than the 370z. I get lazy and keep it on often times.
I'm in Costa Mesa, Orange County.
I wouldn't mind a Model 3 as a daily specially the new one with the refreshed headlights and tail lights, but not as my fun car. I've started seeing Model 3's on the road with big wings and aero kits.
I agree, but a lot of people don't grow up admiring cars or being car enthusiasts so to them having a Tesla is simply having something they can recharge and goes from point A to point B. My neighbor who just bought the house across the street from me, all have Teslas even their relatives when...
I probably misspoke. I've been watching this thread since I'm barely going to ship out my ECU, but I don't have any experience or authority speaking on this subject. I'm trying to learn from everyone here and by asking questions. I honestly thought that MHD+ due to Reflex would allow someone to...
Such an easy mod and made a world of difference for me. The only reason I don't always drive with my windows down is because of the Challenger, Mustang, and Charger idiots who pull up to me and rev their cars and blow out my eardrums wanting me to race them. True story.
I see a lot of the old FK8 models around, but I am yet to see an FL5 in person around here driving around. I wonder if it had anything to do with the crazy markups. Luckily, anyone who waited or wasn't able to buy the first batch, there are people posting on youtube and such about their FL5...
I live in Orange County, California and commute all around Southern California and have NEVER seen an FL5 Civic Type R besides at a car show or cars and coffee. It does depend on location and area. Plenty of Mustangs, Chargers and Challengers though...
Not trying to hi jack the thread, but just a quick question. How is the MKV love, support or community out there in Australia? Do people care for it at all?
I saw a 45th anniversary at my local shop yesterday getting some mods done on it. I’m really falling for the wing and hoping Toyota sells it or that an aftermarket company knocks it off. Just me though as the wing seems controversial on the forum.
Honestly, most if not all things by manufacturers are money grabs. Limited Edition, 45th Anniversary, with BMW they started putting the M before the numbers as in M340i and then in the most recent versions added M mirrors when it’s not a true M car, etc. Companies have to find ways to sell more...
I can’t believe now pricey the Lotus Emira is. Insane for a sports car with a supercharged Camry engine. Maybe the motor will be reliable since it’s a Toyota?
