What issues if you don't mind me asking? I get tired of the Toyota BMW haters online saying Toyota (Magna Steyr) built a piece of crap with the collaboration. How BMW's are so unreliable that this thing will fall apart in the near future, etc. The typical "it's not a realible true toyota like...
I agree with this comment. These guys on the forums adding big turbo kits and crazy amounts of power are braver than I am. It's got enough power to zip in and out of traffic or out of a jam if needed and that's good enough for me.
Bought my 2023 A91 6MT Februay 2023. So far I'm at 5,357 miles. It's not my daily and I work 7 miles from home so my commute is short. I can also work from home a couple days of the week. The MKV is my grocery getter or car to run errands in.
Their customer service is LACKING badly. They have big projects or higher profile clients that often times a Femto unlock, downpipe or BM3 install are such small jobs to them they drag their feet. You seem to have an inside scoop with your connection so I wouldn’t be too worried honestly. I have...
Don’t be surprised though. We can probably look up some numbers, but I’m pretty sure there have been less MKV Supras made than there ever were MKIV Supras made. I have a feeling the MKV will be hard to get a hold off in 10 years because of the low production count.
Our new neighbors that just moved in both husband and wife in their early 30’s with kids both work from home so they don’t commute and they both own Tesla’s. A Model Y and the new Model 3. It’s more than the commute. If you’re not a car person, it’s just practicality to never have to get gas and...
If it turns out to be smoke and mirrors the past couple years on a GRMN MKV, then even better for anyone who purchased a 2020-2024 model because it would not have changed. Having seen the camouflage videos, they got something coming but it could just be a couple upgrades like better brakes or...
I'd give it until April-June for an official leak or announcement on a 2025 GRMN Model. Remember that the MKV 6MT was announced I believe April 15th 2022. I think we'll get an officially announcement on this GRMN soon.
Sharpen your sword. Trust me if you do the CDV delete and you have a chance to push the car, you'll never want to go back. Unless you love to street race or drag race which of course an auto would help. As far as driving around time, being rowdy, cutting through traffic, down shifting during...
Other modern BMW manuals feel the same. The G87 M2 and also most likely even though I haven't test driven it yet, the new Z4 manual that was announced recently will likely have the same 1st to 2nd experience.
I agree. I also removed mine a few months ago and it transformed the car. I've never owned an exotic super car so I can't compare to some insane vehicle, but this is easily the most fun car I have ever owned. I look for excuses just to go for a drive.
Grew up driving manual all my life and now have a 2023 A91 6MT. Casual driving, keep the rpm's low while shifting. Under 2,500 preferably because of the CDV so you are less jerky.
