How difficult is it to remove the stock enclosures? Do they just unbolt, or is there cutting involved? Happen to have any specs/drawings on the replacement box?

Mine has a Y splitter that connects to both valves. They both open and close with the sport mode button.

My FI exhaust is nearly silent with the valves closed, and that's with a catless downpipe. Sounds like your valves aren't working correctly.

Got the front emblem done today. I was kinda on the fence about these initially, and hesitant to pull off the factory badges, but after getting them finished I have no regrets. Looks so much better.

Installed new ebay spoiler and rear badge. Ran out of time, so front badge goes on tomorrow. Also installed a new start button.

Got the downpipe reinstalled and exhaust remounted to fix some rattling issues, but forgot to take any pics unfortunately. Then finally had some nice weather so had my detailer clean it up and take some pics.

Just adds a thermal barrier to help with engine bay temps and keeps exhaust hotter which helps flow. Will it make any noticible difference, no idea. But it doesn't hurt and looks cool. ?

Downpipe cerakote is done, just have to let it cure for a few days then reinstall.

You probably do! I bought the car with the aftermarket downpipe. Had to fix an exhaust rattle so pulled it off to get coated while it was up on the lift. Figured it wouldn't hurt and I'm glad I pulled it, because I discovered the previous owner didn't have a gasket on it ?‍♂️

Can the same be said for a heat shield then? Seems like either/both should help keep IATs lower.
