Where I'm at in eastern Canada, there's only 3-4 other Supra's, and if I happen to see one, I'll give a wave or the 2 finger salute like the above pic.
I'd be too afraid to run 100% meth for fear of being rear ended and having the tank explode and cover me in invisible flames. You're a braver man that I.
They are, but if I pay (as an example) $470 USD to a US vendor, I'm paying a foreign exchange conversion fee on top of the USD -> CAD price difference, and I'm trying to avoid that forex fee by just paying a price in CAD. It's only a few bucks, but I hate paying more than I need to.
Thanks, I'm aware of both websites, but I'm trying to avoid FOREX fees charged for converting USD or Euros into CAD, hence why I asked about a Canadian vendor.
I've been experiencing this issue since new in my '22. It also appears to be totally random when it happens, as I can't reliably reproduce the problem, but when it happens it's when I'm using ~5% throttle and the car just does not respond for 2-3 seconds, then it starts moving.
From what I can...
I did, yeah. I waited 2 months from the time I put the first deposit down to get them, and these ended up costing me waaaaaaay more than I planned (not Apex's fault, I got boned by UPS for duty/brokerage fees at the border) and I didn't want to wait for however long it may have taken to get me a...
It was discovered after unwrapping the wheels from their packaging. I posted here the way I did because Apex basically ignored me for a week, when their automated email stated they usually get back to people within 24 hours. 7x24 is a long enough time that going the public route seemed like the...
@APEXRaceParts I used your "contact us" link on your website exactly a week ago today, stating that I received my wheels from the group buy, but that one of them was damaged. The auto reply email I received said someone would reach out to me, in less than 24 hours usually, to discuss it, and yet...
It might not be relevant (different platform), but I used one of those types of spacers on a DP I had on my Golf R when I was only running a JB4. None of the 3 kept the CEL off, and I had to eventually tune the car to keep it that way.
I think I would have gone for a ZL1 instead of my Supra if I had to do it over again. In Canada, the Supra starts @ $69k for the 3.0P while the ZL1 is $76K (at the time I ordered the Supra, the Camaro is now $81k base with no options except the 10-speed). I knew tuning the Supra wouldn't be...
The balance has already been taken, so we're square on that front. I'll use the contact form if I don't see a tracking # by the end of the week.
Thanks!
I have the same wheels (and color!) coming, but in 18x10/18x11. I got the "your order is ready to ship" email on friday, but no actual shipping confirmation email just yet (hoping for that today or tomorrow).
Are there issues with heat burning the hood and causing paint discoloration, or did I read that wrong? Pretty sure I read on here that having the paint on the hood discolor was a problem with top mount kits.
A bad battery can cause all kinds of weird electrical issues like these, but seeing as how yours is a manual, I'm not sure that's the case, but it's worth a look. Take it to the dealer, but be prepared for them to blow smoke up your ass with your mods.
