Before I tuned my Golf R, I had a JB4 on it, and the unit I initially received was defective. BMS was good about getting me a replacement, and the second one worked as advertised. If you checked the cables and they're solid, I'd press BMS to replace the unit.
That's what I'm wondering about. BM3 is Canadian, we don't follow EPA anything up here. I don't imagine they'll be impacted in the slightest by this, but I've been wrong before ?‍♂️
Yeah, I'm going the Conti route as well (Extreme Contact 02's), in 275 / 295. Once the wheels are ready to ship, I'll order my tires and hope everything comes in at roughly the same time.
Thanks for reminding me about their fitment guide, I totally forgot about that. Based on that guide, their recommendation is 275 / 295, which is what I'll go for. Thanks everyone!
I've got myself in the Apex group buy for some VS-5RS in 18x10 / 18x11 and I'm thinking about tire sizes. I'd like to move up in tire from 255 to 275 in front and from 275 to 295 or 305 in the rear. I don't track the car, but it'll see the drag strip maybe twice a season. I'm also currently on...
I get positive comments / looks all the time. Little kids love the car. I'm one of two Nitro's in my neck of the woods, and there's a black one local as well (though I never see them around at all).
Yesterday I was out for a cruise, and I had a young teen in a Cruze whip out his phone and...
I did this myself just now. Open Bimmercode, select Z4 as your car, access the Headunit module, scroll down until you see Tire Pressure System, select it, select None, save, code. I confirmed it turned it off on my '22, as I have my winter wheels on now with no TPMS sensors in them, and I no...
Mine does this, and it's very off-putting. For a supposed "smooth, inline 6", it shakes like a cam'd V8 at 1k RPM. For my car, it only does it on a cold start, and only until it idles down below 1k RPM, then it's fine.
You somehow ended up with less HP than a lot of cars produce while stock. That's unfortunate. What was the DA and/or your altitude? Your #'s could make sense if you're in Colorado, or some other high altitude location, but if you're at sea level, I'd be asking for my money back.
Don't suppose...
Yeah, mine is off by 3kph. I took it to the dealer and all they did was scan for codes :rolleyes1:. Glad to know it's doing this on purpose, and that I can fix it via Bimmercode if I want to.
