Random and intermittent misfires detectable only on a log?
Enough misfires to trigger the corresponding SAE codes?
Or spark blowout towards WOT without codes?
Lack of outside tread wear is negative camber; topside of wheel leans inward towards centerline and emphasizes contact on center and inner tread. What are your alignment specs?
If my math is right, it should be ~69 MPH (nice) @ red line in 2nd gear on the MT.
Assumptions:
7000 RPM red line
26.7" tire diameter
3.46:1 final drive (MT only)
2.315:1 2nd gear ratio (MT only)
It has a 2-pass core (not good). It's also missing a fuel rail+injectors for PI, so add $700 to the stated price for most people (assuming 1050cc + rail option). Kind of a bummer to see a product not be terribly forthcoming about the total cost of ownership. The price is pretty much just...
I'll probably end up splitting the difference and using the 80A. Will tackle the install when I get my new turbo and have to take the downpipe off anyhow.
Not to sound glib, but it doesn't matter. Since the exit of this downpipe gets attached to the stock exhaust (3.15"), the maximum exhaust flow of the downpipe is restricted to 3.15". Any larger diameter elsewhere in the downpipe doesn't impact performance.
I have, actually. My last set of rears in the Supra were the BFGoodrich GForce Rival S 1.5, which recently won best 200TW track tire against a pretty impressive lineup. To say that I disliked the tire immensely would be an understatement; it was, hands down, one of the most alarmingly slippery...
Say what you will, but I absolutely love mine. My other car puts down around 500WHP and it's practically glued to the road.
Edit: to be clear, the R888 is a crap tire. The R888R is not. I also would not spring for R888R on a track, but love it for the street. Especially in Texas where the...
Neither MHD nor BM3 support ECU integration of a Motiv Reflex. That means your injectors will be "blind firing" and the ECU will have no idea what's going on, as the Motiv will be running in dummy mode.
I'd find a new tuner and go to Ecutek. I find it sort of irresponsible for any tuner to...
Pointless on the Supra, really. The B58 motor uses the throttle plate, valve lift, and the electronic wastegate to discharge excess pressure in the cold side. Your whole engine is a blowoff valve.
