Of course it's all a matter of perspective. From my perspective 300-500HP hasn't been fast since the early 00's. A stock or bolt-on MKV --- definitely not fast. The car is quite numb and undramatic. Having built a number of 700-1200HP cars will do that, I guess.
That said, speed/power and...
Mods were delivered before the title arrived..! ?
I've been following along with the mod/aftermarket progression since day 1 and the potential is undeniable. I enjoy tracking the progression of stock to basic bolt-on to beyond and this is a great platform for that. I'm just not in love with...
"It's better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt"
Here's the thing - you are literally still a child and your shallow opinions/assumptions follow suit. That's ok; depth of experience will come. Thing 2 is that in no universe is a 12 or 11 second car "fast"...

You know what they say about assumption, right? That (partial list) of what I have or had owned is from like 3 years ago.
I have a tuneable 2021.
They were mutually exclusive events. I sold the MKIV to a friend of a friend for stupid $$$ with one phone call. Been in the community 2 decades, owned/built 5 MKIV, exceeded all my goals so was time to move on. The disco parts situation was taking a lot of the fun out of it anyway.
The MKV...
PRICE:
$222,689 (as tested)
:confused1:
That said... You'd be pressed to replicate one for that price in the aftermarket if you contracted a chassis/race shop to build it for you.
Wasn't me! I don't drive any of the cars I care about after dark during the rut.. deer.fucking.everywhere. Have had several close calls recently and my wife even hit a deer in one of our prior MKIV day before Halloween some years back. :nono:
I can only offer an opinion. Smells like BS. Unless they've already been deep into development there's no way they can turnaround a net-new car for the 2024 or even 2025 MY.
I've not found pressures below 25-26 to be beneficial but your results may vary. More heat is better than too little as well. Ultimately your success is going to be determined by the track prep more than anything, experimentation is really the only way to figure out what's going to work for...
I have the Verus Engineering and they 100% solved the buffeting at any speed. I think they're one of the most expensive options, but worth every penny to me.
