Based on that leaked roadmap a while back, most of that should happen in June while start of production happens in July. Hard to tell how accurate that is, but most of the leaks have been pretty accurate so far.
The car that you probably see this year will be GR Corolla if allocations come out as expected. Though with production time delays delivery for everything could be early next to very late this year.
Incorrect on the manual Supra, GR Corolla will be very late deliveries this year for early orders. There is no allocations available to the dealer at all anywhere. Car is announced, pricing has not been yet announced. Early orders have a very slim chance of landing this year. No allocations=no...
...it with the premium if you find a good price and turn all the assists off if it bothers you. That’s what I would’ve done in different circumstances. Just remember you can’t really order directly through Toyota. You can only ask for specific options from allocations to the dealers in your region
It is an unfortunate reality in most cases. Once allocations become available check the thread on these forums that lists dealers that are confirmed to deal in MSRP purchases for Supras which is almost certain to mean an out of state purchase... (if certain dealers so listed will work with you...
It kinda sucks that most dealerships around me are treating this as a second Supra launch..with all the markup they are trying to charge. Still waiting on a dealership to say they have allocations and will take deposits for an msrp purchase.
yoo I actually called Toyota WC and sales manager told me they do MSRP 500 fully refundable for the manual Supra so I did it lol Funny thing you mention the wrap cause the guy definitely mentioned that but for the next supra that comes in lol That's crazy tho I worked with the service manager...
...and no “dealer add-ons” are few and far between.
My hope is that the dealer won’t renege on this, and I’ll keep my place in line when allocations arrive. If things don’t go to plan, the deposit is refundable. Worth a shot IMO.
For anyone in the Bay Area that’s interested - this was One...
...market and the volatility in dealer markups. The point is to lock in an MSRP deal.
I did not have to put a deposit down but I probably would have if required. However, any dealer taking deposits (especially non-refundable) this early when allocations, etc.. are totally unknown is shady.
...Nada.
Guess they're too busy selling cars?♂️
At least two dealers were helpful and - while didn't have a "waitlist" - said I was the first to call and would be contacted first once allocations were announced.
Does anyone know of any Toyota reps on this forum? Especially on the east coast?
...just suits my driving hobbies a bit better. My dealer told me that they weren't able to do orders, but I'm second in line so as they get allocations, if I want to pass because of color/trim I won't lose my spot and I can wait for the next one. I told him I wanted a blue premium though just in...
I had the same issue with my dealership. They wouldn't take a deposit but said that I was the first one to inquire about one. So, in theory I should be first on the list if they are allocated an A91 edition.
He also said it will probably be marked up somewhere between 5-10k like the CF edition...
...done talking to two dealerships. Both will be selling above msrp, one at $10k above msrp. Found a third that claims they will sell at msrp but we’ll see. None are taking deposits until they have allocations which makes sense..but it’s just mindblowing to me that they won’t take my money anyways.
