can you start your car without holding the key to the column? check that antenna and its harness next to the battery. that may be the fix for the random problem
since im 99% sure mine is self inflicted im retracing steps here
Installed my Valenti Taillamps and they worked, mostly. When i went to test the opening and ending action there was no response. More to the point the car wasn't locking and unlocking. Car only start when remote key is held up to the steering column.
Before any work was started, the battery...
Lol what are you telling me for? Out of the 7 cars i've owned, 6 are/were manual. Woulda been 7/7 but i really liked the 4runner.
Like i said, the ev is the enemy.
Sounds like the hawk HPS 5.0 is right for you. They only need to heat up to 100*F to be at optimal temperature which is barely anything. i used to daily on hawk HP+ which are 300*F and i never noticed they didn't work well even in the winter.
yea, I drove the 8spd and hated it. Was my least favorite thing about the car back in 2021.

yea this is my 4th "toyota" and not a single one of them had decent wiper blades from factory. i use Bosch Icon's for my 4runner and corolla and work great even in snow. Supra doesn't see rain so oem wipers be damned
the brakes actually take a while to wear on an EV. don't forget it's not just the brakes stopping the car but the regeneration of the electric motor. its the tires that wear fast.
since this popped up on the latest topics column of the forum i thought i'd share a bulletin from the manufacturer i work with regarding a similar concern. Again, NOT Toyota.

thanks! no I don't scrape. If i were to scrape i'd also be scaping on the mufflers because it sits pretty high up. I'm lowered on coilovers. Wish i had better pictures to show you. that pic was taken immediately after i put the diffuser on. that's the HKS superturbo exhaust btw, with the...
that's exactly the type of setup i'm looking for, thank you. Looks like the bossboss mount isnt available anymore. is the proclip metal? and does it come off easily? maybe i can just modify it to accept a generic solo bracket.
