have you tried turning the steering wheel lock to lock? i've gotten a few cars in the past to calibrate by doing just this.

Central locking with the key as well as everything else worked as it should have before the new lamps went in.

i tried this already also. Without the new lights not plugged in key still doesnt work. I have a feeling it's coding. I just don't know where to start looking yet
