Dumb question but I have to ask. Have you had the car aligned?Hello,
So recently I installed ALL SPL parts for suspension and the car is throwing all kind of errors basically saying that the Steering angel is not correct
How can I recalibrate the SAS
Hmmm. Sounds like something may have been damaged somehow or the alignment wasn’t done properly.Yes, and the error popped up after the alignment
Depending on what year you have, some of the alignment machines don't have the ability to reset the SAS.Did you ever figure this problem out????
Did some more research and just wanted to make sure you just used went onto the Techstream website and paid for a 2 day subscription to techstream and also bought a Mini Vci J2534 to connect to the car.Depending on what year you have, some of the alignment machines don't have the ability to reset the SAS.
I have a 2023, 2 very good shops with Hunter Alignment machines didn't have the spec for it. I had coilovers installed, replaced the rear ride height sensor bracket and I ended up with 7 codes related to the parking assist.
I ended up downloading Techstream and got access to Toyota ISTA (BMW ISTA). I used ISTA to calibrate my SAS as well as the parking sensors and it cleared all 7 of my codes related to the parking assist. I can't remember all of the codes, but my side sensors weren't working even though the front and rears were. From
Normal ENET cables work too (The yellow things).Did some more research and just wanted to make sure you just used went onto the Techstream website and paid for a 2 day subscription to techstream and also bought a Mini Vci J2534 to connect to the car.
As of right now just ordered the cable, but wanted to make sure that this will still connect to our car since all the videos and information online are people having to use a VM for Windows XP and are all connecting to early 2000 Toyotas.

Doesn't work on the Supra.have you tried turning the steering wheel lock to lock? i've gotten a few cars in the past to calibrate by doing just this.
I used Techstream Lite and got the 2 day sub, that's the only Techstream available to the public.Did some more research and just wanted to make sure you just used went onto the Techstream website and paid for a 2 day subscription to techstream and also bought a Mini Vci J2534 to connect to the car.

The cheap yellow ENET cable 100% works. I used this: https://a.co/d/0cEhIuejAs for the Mini VCI J2534, it's doubtful this will work. Toyota requires a LAN cable specifically for the Supra. Toyota has a part number however, you can find the yellow cheaper one on Amazon.
Agreed. That's the same one I used as well. Much cheaper than the OEM cable.
