Like I said, when the car was stock I never really heard any rattles (except the subwoofer rattle). But when you start to mod the exhaust system you'll invite some rattles. Some people say that the 2022 is more solid than the 2020, but I don't know if there's any truth to that.
Hopefully you...
Yeah, the car rattles alot, even brand new which is kinda a letdown build quality wise. But since I really hate rattles I've managed get rid of pretty much all of them (the sub rattle for instance, can be removed by putting some foam infront of the subs)
Although I must say the rattle wasnt...
I heard about a case nearby here where Toyota updated the ECU of a Supra and they somehow broke it in the process. Now the car has been sitting at the dealership for 5-6 months.
I find carplay to be just as fine, or even better since its syncs everything to your phone. Also, the...
I never really heard when Toyota ever solved an issue with this car. They just put you on a waiting list.... ?
I also have a 2019 model but never use the iDrive system. Only Apple Carplay and usually Waze for maps.
Exactly. ? All these bashing trolls who talked so much crap better boost the sales now. But we all know the wont, because they never planned to buy it in the first place. Because many of them are 14 yr olds.
No, not really. You have to go through an annoying process every time you start it up.
Just take it easy the first 15-20 min and you'll be all good.
If you want to make sure then purchase a OBD adapter and track the temps with your phone.
I use the OBDLink CX with Bimmerlink.
Turn off Auto Start/Stop
Change the brightness on the dim screen
Turn off active sound design (the fake engine noise)
Always make the car start on sport mode
etc. etc.
There's just too much rattle in this car. It's driving me nuts sometimes. I fixed the speaker rattling and also the belt retractors, but still the harness bar and some other stuff rattles sometimes.
I guess I'll have to live with it ?
I know this probably has been mentioned already, but do you guys still get this problem when turning traction halfway off? Just one push of the traction button.
Yeah exactly. 3rd to 2nd is really the one that stands out.
I would not expect the dealer to find any problem either ?
I guess I get another reason to manually shift myself even more ?
