I fully agree on this. The tuner behaves kinda sketchy here. Do you mean who also experieced power loss because of a tune on your previous car?

He was tuned, for the 2nd time. The first instance of the power loss came after the final visit to Toyota, when they updated the ECU or something. He then got back to the tuner and put in the tune again after some unlocking, and it was after this that the problem with the power came.

It definitely can! I think it might be two seperate issues. Maybe one electronic one, and one tune related.
