The amusing thing about all the "on paper" arguments right now is that the "paper" for the Z has some glaring omissions, so uhh we're just making assumptions about it. The comments from Nissan so far are that the VR30 is basically unchanged, it will weigh "a bit more" than the 370, that they're...
Alright, calm it down there. Not all of us need to be lunging at other cars in stop and go traffic. Sport mode also disable to engine auto start/stop, which seems like it's needed to reach those EPA requirements. Part of the appeal of the Supra for me was being able to comfortably drive it...
It’s pretty well documented that the Supra is underrated on power, and the stated HP numbers are in line with BMW standards, where they quote closer to WHP than crank. At the same time, it’s pretty well known that the VR30 (in Q50 Red Sport) is also arguably underrated, and puts down around...
Most modern cars have these toggle buttons to dynamically change throttle mapping, etc. If the manufacturer didn't intend for it to be changed on the fly (as in while driving), they'd have locked it out, or required you to be in park to engage it.
Also confirming full screen carplay. Also the HUD carplay text got updated a bit? I dropped my car off yesterday morning and didn't get it back for 24-26 hours.
I also took my girlfriend's 2.0 in at the same time, and apparently this recall doesn't apply. A different recall for passenger...
Really curious to see what the weight and stock 0-60 times are. My experience with Z owners is that...yeah, they're more like Mustang and Camaro people, who are in it for cheap power and brand loyalty. Which is fine, but definitely not my jam. Also, someone mentioned the ECU potentially being...
You sure seem to be dancing around your own point here. Next you'll be saying all you need to do is LS swap your Z, then it'll be no competition. It's already a slippery slope when you're trying to argue whether a HEAVILY modified car that has (possibly tens of) thousands of dollars worth of...
I have my 2021 in today with complaints of Carplay disconnecting, specifically asking if there's a software update that might fix it. We'll see what comes out of that.
At least 20-40k markup from the dealer in my area. There was a '21 in Culver City priced like 10k over MSRP for some dealer-installed mods. The breakdown showed a couple thousand dollars for a bad carbon-patterned roof wrap where the unevenly cut edges were visible from a couple feet away.
Honestly, any dealer I've seen with a Supra available has three more to go with it, so a very incremental, cosmetic update doesn't make the 21 look any less desirable than a 22, unless you're a real stickler for red in your interior.
Cool, cool...so TRD versions of carbon parts we can already get. Aren't the "unique matte black wheels" just the same one from the A90/A91 edition? Or were those considered satin?
