Good luck, I dunno about in Miami, but here the dealers are all on some BS and are selling used ones for more than MSRP and acting like they're giving you a 'good deal'. Even a few months ago local dealers weren't really budging much, most I got a local one to offer was 2500 off MSRP. So I had...
I made 400 wheel on my stock dyno run.
Lol, I have to do this stupid peek under move to see stop lights. Glad it's not just me.
As for the hatch button, I've been trying to get Bimmertech to develop a solution. They're just not sure if the interest is there to be worth their time yet. So by all...
They have Funday Sunday test and tunes like once a month as well. I went to one last month, it wasn't too packed in the morning, but it did get that way by the afternoon. Definitely a lot warmer during the day too. Good to know about the axles though, still on street tires for now.
My 2021 doesn't drink oil, at least no where near the levels that some people are complaining about. Secondly, I bought the car to modify it, so I really don't care about a little oil consumption. I plan on building at least the top half of the motor so I cared a lot more about being able to...
My daily was a 2013 Scion FRS 10 series. Loved that little thing, it was a hoot to drive around ringing out the gears. Then you'd look over and you're still going as fast as traffic, so no tickets.
Practicality-wise, the rear seats were useless to me in the FRS, the A/C sucked at stoplights...
BimmerTech did the install.
You can't control it with the HUD, it's on the Aux input.
However, you can control it with the steering wheel button in a way. You can still control volume, and your steering wheel buttons will navigate within the selected window and select whatever you have...
The above video shows from unlocking the car, to start up, to selecting a destination.
Navigating around through menus a bit
I'd be very curious to see what hardware and firmware version of mmi prime and what phone and os version people were on that were complaining about the lag or what...
With just a dp I just went with ecutek and an ots tune from titan. As for when, I don't have a set date. So really whatever works for anyone else that's interested.
"All Z cars have amazing aftermarket support"
I had a twin turbo 370Z Nismo... aftermarket support was TERRIBLE when that car first came out.
Plus, given that I've already had a 370Z with twin turbos, upgraded, brakes/suspension... I have a very strong sense of been there done that with...
I had the opportunity to visit BimmerTech in Orlando and have them install their MMI Prime with Android Auto in my Supra the other week. I've seen some other options that added a trunk release button but were less than stock in design/security. I figured if they can add Android Auto to the car...
I asked them if they had any plans to release a button retrofit for the rear under the license plate that actually sync'd up like a factory one and showed them the ridiculous use the hatch button on the door, close the door and have a hatch that isn't actually unlatched. They said they'd pass it...
