I dunno much about the new auto for the Z, but I know for the old one that wouldn't be much of an accomplishment. Shifting faster and launching better than the trans in the Supra...that's a bit much.
If the new auto is garbage enough for you to beat it while shifting, then I think the margin...
Yeah, I thought you were saying you'd be faster than the Supra with a manual Z.
I re read your post and it was confusing... you said you'd be faster in a 6spd manual Supra.
But there isn't one and you're saying that with the Z you can test that.
So I'm going to go with a few implied things...
Can anyone else get in on that?
And vs who? yourself or anyone else in a stock Supra?
Because basically you're saying you'll be running 11's stock in a manual Z while shifting with shittier tires. I'd love to see that.
The problem is it's all relative and I've had a 350Z and a 370Z, and yeah the Supra is definitely a much nicer place to be in than either of those. I don't have any issues with squeaks and rattles in my Supra, but my 370Z... it actually got better after it was rear ended and had to have work...
If only there was a RWD version of the Q60 to dyno.... oh wait there is and it dynos about 350 to wheels.
It's not speculation when the motor has been out in other platforms for years and what it makes is well known. I.e. about 350-375hp depending on dyno and conditions.
It's also not...
It's because it's a comparison made if you focus on the points that are close on paper(not in reality), and pretend the parts where they're not close are because Nissan is catering to the enthusiasts and not because they just reused old parts.
The new Z is the same as the old Z, it has a fresh...
I get the 'Nice BMW', or 'It's not really a Supra' fairly regularly. From the domestic crowd, the usual import hate. That and either people just don't know or they're trying to make underhanded comments asking if it's a stick and then being disappointed when I say it's an auto.
The most fun...
I had a base line dyno done at Titan, at about 400hp and 385tq. I also did base line quarter mile runs at 12.105 at 117.
Installed their dp, ecutek with an OTS tune, and e30. Dropped down to an 11.78 at 119.
Waiting on my Pure turbo to show up, and I'll probably get a quick dyno while I go...
' said he would make himself available to testify against the other defendants if their cases go to trial. '
And there's the other problem. Even if you don't incriminate yourself, someone you run with might get popped and snitch on you.
Nah, they'll be fine, they just use the 'Mexico' defense. I didn't see it in any of the videos I watched, but I love how people record themselves doing something illegal and then post it online and are like 'In Mexico.' ??;):drive:
So the local police are like 'Damn, that really looked like he...
Based on Toyota's online build tool, I'd say it depends if that car was optioned with it or not.
Dunno if that can be unlocked with coding or not, but there is also aftermarket support to add things as well. Mine came with nav, but I added Bimmertech's MMI prime to add Android Auto as an...
Lol, I just don't take it to them for service.
Also, it sounds like it doesn't really matter. From what I've heard, once you're tuned, your ecu records out of spec parameters and flags you as being tuned. So no amount of pulling things off and putting stock parts back on will really help...
I was picking up an oil filter from the parts department of my local dealer, the parts guy was like 'What you don't want your free oil change?' Aside from not wanting them to relock my ecu, not wanting that terrible stock oil, and not trusting their techs, I was just like nope.
Maybe it was...
Yeah, I figure I'll have to get a transmission upgrade but there's a big difference in price between the stage 0/1 trans upgrades and the 1000hp/tq trans upgrades
It's the same for the CTS turbo upgrade, posts on their IG, and Titan even dyno tested the turbo and put up some very healthy...
Agreed, plus 1khp is getting serious into the engine build and transmission build costs, I just want to break into the 9's even by a .01 and I'll be happy with power. Then suspension, wheels, aero...
I'm waiting on my Pure to show up, but I really wish CTS would put out some more info on their...
Its all in how you justify it really, but at the end of the day what am I going to do with a stock turbo?
So 5600 and a turbo paper weight
vs 3k without yet another oem part taking up space
At the end of the day I just wanna go fast :)
and that extra 2600 can pay for other things to go fast...
I don't have any resonating or vibrations at any speed that I've noticed. How are your roads there? Alignment settings, tires balanced, etc?
Maybe try a different Toyota dealer?
