I am going with that or the TF-Works muffler delete in the next two weeks. I don't want to mess with the downpipe for the minimal gains it seems to give and the possibilities of a check engine light with PA annual inspections. Plus the videos I have seen have a much deeper tone with the deletes.
Running a JB4 on my '21, on program 2. Loving it so far, feels like stock but with more tire spin. No changes to daily driveability, just more overall power. Just ordered the EWG connector, looking forward to seeing how 3 or 4 feels.
aFe Power 30-10296 fits, as does the K&N 33-3136
I am running the aFe on mine. Also tossed the intake silencer and used metal ducting tape inside the lid to seal it up. Get a bit more turbo noise, but not much.
I was looking at Kook's muffler deletes. They normally are a domestic performance exhaust company, and I know they make high quality parts. They have polished and black tip versions for the Supra, for a pretty good price point.
Paid MSRP in the Pittsburgh area, where most dealers are still doing markup. I wanted the yellow, and every other one in the area was silver. I did get $2K over KBB on my trade, so I am good with that. Not happy that the military discount only applies to TFS financed loans only. Their rates...
