Generic car buying answer... don't fall in love with one car at one dealership. Go in knowing there are many cars out there, and you can and will walk out without the one you are stopping in to see. Have a bit of patience, stand your ground, don't let them play games. Be prepared to travel to...
I would like it if someone made a visor add on for that screen, similar to the pic below. If it was done in a decent looking CF finish, it would look fine and help visibility a lot in bright conditions.
Pretty much guarantee they will bolt right in, since the floor pan is identical. Only issue would be if there was some body control module that doesn't like the flavor of airbags or something.
They are not chromed, look to be either polished and cleared or high reflective paint finish. Had my wheels powder coated and they didn't have to do any more than the normal glass bead to remove the stock paint. Powder coating chromed wheels is a right pain in the ass, as you have to remove...
Did you install hubcentric spacers? I would not recommend the generic flat spacers, at least not more than 5mm thick so the existing wheel hub still locates the wheel prior to bolting it down.
The hub isn't the part that retains the wheel, that is done by the clamping force of the lug bolts...
Stud conversion, long enough to handle 15mm spacers if I want to add them later. Went to lugnuts similar to what you show, but darker in color and they fit into the stock wheels more so they aren't as out of place as yours look.
Feed it down and out the grill opening. I have it in the upper honeycomb of that grill, with a black zip tie holding it so you really don't notice it when capped.
Powder coated mine satin black. Happy with the look, pretty much stopped looking at aftermarket rims. Plus with military discount I paid $380 for dismount, powder coat, remount and balance with road force balancer. Actually rides smoother than before.
Stock tires suck below 50F. I switched to all seasons so I can drive on non-snowy days. Salt is a bitch here, but the car is almost entirely aluminum and plastic, corrosion isn't a major threat.
Something to try... spray each sensor with WD40, wipe it clean. Sounds weird, but worked for mine when they glitched, and is a common fix for BMW sensors if you search on Youtube.
Normally would run Rotella, but went with Pennzoil Platinum Euro SAE 0W-40 Full Synthetic, which meets SN and VW 505.00 spec, which indicates reduced carbon deposits for direct injected engines.
Looks like a lot of the Deal's Gap sites have no events on their schedules yet, since most don't open for the season until 1 March.
I see a list of events on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/tailofthedragon/events/
If you all can nail down a date I would be happy to escape the Pittsburgh...
Yes, many years ago I bought a Holden brake kit from Australia for my new then '04 Pontiac GTO. Came into Orlando Int Airport customs, had to pick it up there. Was an interesting experience.
