Don’t have to worry about “lining up” ZL1 blocks. They stay in on their own which is why they come with the little keychain to pull them out. (For those that feel this solution may work for their setup.)
Depending on your setup, sure. 4 ZL1 blocks (if you need that many) are only $67.
Maybe not expensive on an absolute basis, but it could be more money than one needs to spend to solve their problem.
ZL1 blocks are fine if you have a quick jack. Or only need to jack the car up on one side for...
These are awesome. I have the recommended jack stands, so this is a cool (but pricey) solution. The ZL1 blocks make jacking up the car easy, but aren’t good for jack stands (quick jacks would be fine).
I think black is better. But, I’ve noticed that the scene just does opposite of whatever the car was released with. (For example, black vs body color mirror caps)
Vertical grille slats with frames brings it closer to historical BMW grille design.
Middle one is a bit wild.
Last one’s fender is functional, at least.
I don’t think it has anywhere near the presence of the Supra, but I’m glad to see the aftermarket jumping on it.
I’m a huge auto supporter (I own one…), but this is just false.
Possible? Absolutely. Fun to a point? Yes.
Best option if committing to a drift build and learning the hobby (and maybe being competitive at some point in your journey)? Definitely not.
I feel like too many here (and in the car...
False. I actually don’t need to drive either car to know that one trans is better for drifting and the other is better for drag racing.
There are some moronic comments, yes, but not all are explained by not having driven the vehicles.
I get that, but for those in the manual-over-everything camp, I’m truly dumbfounded by why the line is drawn at manual gearboxes.
Why not delete ABS and other vehicle stability systems? Why not eliminate all power steering components? “For the sake of engagement!”
I would take Koenigsegg’s...
Only you can decide what is worth it for you depending on the value you’re getting for the price. If you’re ok with the price of a current used Supra that meets your criteria in terms of condition/history, who is anyone else to tell you to wait?
Also, side note, lots of personal finance advice...
No one who launches their Supra (and wants to do it well) uses the OEM launch control.
Ironic, but using both of your feet and “feel” are going to get you the best launch in the “non-engaging” automatic.
Correct. Arguably the best torque converter auto to have ever existed. Technology good...
Some would argue this is a good thing! It’s like the only window you can send it sideways without feeling like you’re burning $100 every time you do it!

Plus, while I understand your concern about interest rates, that’s just part of the bigger picture. The point made earlier about resale is very valid.
Your real cost is your total cash gone between your purchase and your sale, all in. You should consider more than interest rates.
