That depends. I wouldn't say it'd be a regret. It gives you the opportunity to run the car as is and tune the aero to your liking. If you make it through this season, or even some of the season, and decide that you would like more front downforce, adding these are an easy thing to do.
Dive planes are mostly for fine-tuning your aero to create more front bias depending on your preferred aero setup front and rear. Verus has informative packets on their kit in relation to their different offerings.

Just run by autozone, advanced auto, etc and you can rent the spring compressors from them, then return them for free. Free tool use to have the right tool for the job, doesn’t make sense to me why you wouldn’t.
Oh for sure, but it's better than nothing. I'm also guessing that a lot of others don't follow too close or have any offs. Some tracks are also a lot messier than others and get a lot of kick-up.
Pick up my wing for the Supra in a couple weeks or so, but have ran wings on past track vehicles.
Your thinking is right. Typically I run higher AOA at shorter tracks and lower AOA at longer tracks. But that’s all dependent upon the balance of the aero front and rear and how the driver prefers...
Wound up just saying screw it and ordered a set of 18x10.5 TSW Imatra for under $500 shipped for the set. Can’t beat that for a cheap second set of track wheels.
@razorlab are you staying on stock rotors and PMu pads for this season after going bigger turbo? I’m interested to hear your experience as I’ll be going bigger turbo and pure transmission after this season.
Stock, the cars come with lug bolts. When you take the wheels regularly, trying to line the wheels up with the faces of the hub and then threading the bolts through, sucks.
When tracking, you should be taking the wheels on and off fairly regularly. Think rotating wheels, inspections, and...
You and me both haha. 25 over was certainly tempting, but I don’t need it right now.
Oh certainly, I’d take a GT3 first and foremost. Drove the new 992 GT3 RS and wow. I would take that in a heartbeat, but I’m not there yet.
