i'm running 245/40R19 19x9.5 ET10 on stock springs, I have camber plates so it doesn't poke, very good fitment, ET20-25 would be perfect with stock camber. 245 on 9.5" has slight stretch so 0 curb protection but is has a nice handling response.
at 100mph, it felt like I was going 100km/h. Passenger guessed about 100km/h as well. Something is wrong with the front end of your car, check all your bushings and your shocks, if they are ok then check alignment, lastly try some other tires.
It's a problem I have experienced with Michelins, I had a set of PS4s for 3 years and 30k km ish before it started cracking like that, by the 4th year the edge is full of it. I had another set of Michelin's do pretty much the same thing after 3 years but 50k km. Supra's Pss i 1.5 year old now, I...
2 options:
1. sand from 600ish to 3000 and then polish, ceramic coat
2. sand from 600ish to 1500 and then spray 2K clear coat
Both options afterwards I suggest applying PPF after, since you do a lot of highway driving it seems, this headlight is actually pretty easy to PPF yourself.
Fairly happy with the Dinan intake, the tube from the rad support to the airbox doesnt fully seal but not a huge deal, I did gold tape the whole side facing the exhaust so hopefully mitigates some. You can choose to run it without the lid as well for lots of noise. Still decent amount of noise...
1095GBP per year for a 340hp AT Supra in UK, 1650GBP if it's a MT cuz of extra 5.3g of CO2, tax is based on emissions, glad I ldidn't stay there. In BC Canada just $18 CAD+12%tax for plate renewal, and insurance is really cheap for Supra compared to most cars (half of GR86, B8.5 S4 and Tesla...
I like it a lot, but I would still choose to re-cover the stock seats beacause it's missing the memory function, I'm not the only driver and the driver profile linked to key feature is very nice to have.
If I track I would use a dedicated manual carbon seat. On other cars that doesn't have...
It's country dependent, see the posting from a few weeks ago of someone in europe fixing a crashed NA supra and registering there. I thought about moving to the UK in 2021 with another car of mine and pretty much the only thing to do is orange blinkers, import cars typically already pay higher...
50% 0w20 C5 Supra and 50% Shell V-Power Diesel. Diesel keeps the engine sludge free and is a great lubricant. Since 21 has some oil consumption if any excess diesel makes into the combustion chamber, you want it to auto-ignite easily just past the ringlands, it puts extra pressure on the rings...
Canadian 2023 Manual "allows" BMW LL17 which are all 0w20.
North American 2021 M340i with the 382hp B58 allows LL01, LL14, LL17, which covers 5w30 and 40 as well. Another section specifically also says 0w30 as well. Europe also allows LL04 (0w30). What does this say? As long as it's good full...
The purpose of the build is the most important factor to your 600whp goal, if you're just dailying and occasionally stepping on it, it won't cost a lot, and as said in an earlier post you might not even need a trans upgrade. Just turbo, fuelling, exhaust and a good tune.
The moment you are...
I would first do a check on both sets of injector wiring, if all good do a leak down test on the cylinders, if that checks out, pull the OEM injectors and flow test them
