Ironically Supra trans mounts are the exact same style as nearly every other BMW trans mount for the last 30 years... It's a piece of polyurethane with a bolt going through it.
Apex
Edit: I've also used TItan7, TE37 SL, and Advan GT on the Supra and wish I had just bought forged Apex wheels. Quality seems as good or better than others, lighter, seem strong, best fitment (11" wide in 18s and 19s), and better looking than anything besides Advan.
Yeah I agree with everything @Traxion said. Get them and do a stud conversion. Grab a couple sets of spacers and see what you like in terms of looks. They look good with 5, 10 or 12mm spacers depending on your ride height, tire, and preference.
Nobody is disputing any of that and we’re all happy for you.
Only problem is that feedback doesn’t help anybody else decide if they want to buy the same turbo.
but if you can get it on the dyno we’d all be curious to see the results.
His point isn't that he doesn’t believe you.
Just that there isn’t anything to believe because the numbers on the sport display don’t reflect the power in any meaningful way.
They’ll both leave a huge gap between the wheel well liner and the fender.
A ton of junk gets thrown into that cavity.
So I’d say both are a poor design… I own the Sayber ones btw and am removing them soon.
MS109. So about 104 octane. Probably similar results vs e85.
I do think that timing advance could be more aggressive than it currently is and boost could be reduced a bit to reduce possible surge.
AMS said this is the most they can get out of it. 611hp on their hub dyno.
32.7psi
tune seems a bit unstable below 4k rpm. If you lift and try to get back on it below 4k it gets super jerky. Might try another tuner.
I don’t think you’ll find a single person that has any data to show that it makes any difference.
At some point I’m sure it’s a restriction, but you’ll have already upgraded your intake manifold by then (and maybe added meth)if you’re pushing 800+ whp.
Stock charge pipe is fine for OEM or hybrid turbos. You’ll only need an aftermarket charge pipe if you get a new intake manifold (oem won’t quite fit right with most) or if you want to run meth injection.
Have you watched the wastegate on start up?
It does a full sweep and could be getting stuck or possibly bumping into the turbine housing depending on how things are positioned.
Oh I get it, just thought I’d randomly share my experience here since I have no build thread haha
But yeah, @Awad make sure to order some blackstone kits and test it. I’m sure you’ll be happy with the results ?
