The difference is Lewis did it on purpose, and Max didn't. Max is awesome, but even he can't calculate a tire bouncing off a sausage kerb, onto Lewis' tire, and then over his car lol.
Max left TWO car widths space, somehow Lewis' tire still found Max's.
Max is fully alongside, Lewis has...
if you look at Monza objectively, you'd see Monza was a race incident caused by one thing. The sausage kerb. They were side by side, and by the rules Max was entitled by space. Lewis squeezed him, which is fine, but the sausage kerb threw Max's car onto Lewis' tire, which in turn launched it...
Let me preface by saying I ALWAYS drive my Supra in manual mode.
The ZF8 is much happier in manual mode than the DSG was. The DSG just worked better in auto. So if you want a flappy paddle F1 experience, the ZF8 does it better. The DSG (in the GTI at least) didn't feel as crisp, or as fast.
Of...
McLaren is getting close though. Lando did really good. Las Vegas is an unknown, new track, cold temps expected, so who knows. Abu Dhabi will be RedBull I think.
But yeah I hope it's closer next season. It's awesome watching history being made and seeing 70 year old records fall, but I'd like...
I disagree. Lewis asked to pit, Mercedes denied him. Max had to make the overtake under racing conditions, and he did. Max did what he had to do. You can't fault him, or RedBull. Masi was within the rules, that's why they amended them for the season after, to clarify them. Mercedes made the...
Wrong way around IMO. The Supra is the sportscar, so it should have the faster, better transmission. Let's face it, BMW isn't known for making good manuals. I thought it was rubbery and sloshy. The ZF8 Supra is just better.
The Jeep is already slow, with spongy suspension and mushy brakes...
I disagree. When it's the same team, they have to tread lightly between their support to both drivers. Balance everything out. Who gets the upgrades first, etc.
No I'll take seasons like 2021. The full might of two teams behind their lead drivers. Regardless of how it ended, 2021 was...
Yeah Mercedes got lucky Leclerc crashed out again.
Honestly Mercedes shouldn't even be 2nd. Ferrari does what Ferrari does, Aston Martin has Lance Stroll, and McLaren was awful at the beginning of the season.
Yeah that was exactly it ?
Shame though because they're only 20 points behind Mercedes. They could've really used Leclerc to steal some points and closed the gap, but you know, Ferrari ?
None of them care about 2nd place. In the constructors championship it matters, but in the drivers' it doesn't matter if you're 2nd or 20th. The only reason they want that 2nd place is to deny RedBull the clean sweep. But the difference is now 32 points or something, with 2 races to go it's...
Whatever it was great! Lando attacking Max, EVERYONE attacking Mercedes, lots of passing, (on Mercedes) and Fred with an epic drive.
Russell getting the Bottas treatment even though he was clearly faster at the start of the stint and literally being sacrificed by Mercedes while for months the...
