I know you're pretty experienced but my 0.02 would be to bed them aggressively on the outlap (ideally tell the guy behind what you're doing so he doesn't ride your bumper) and then cruise through the first lap, coast through the pits, and then do an easy outlap and send it.
Then just ignore...
I ran BM3 stage 2 93 and then stage 2 e30 (I think) in a friend’s car in back to back sessions at a Gridlife event and the e30 map subjectively felt way faster. Objectively we were close to 1 second per lap quicker in worse track conditions on e30 which is a huge improvement.
that’s my point. You’re saying it’s bad based on a single failure after a DIY/local shop install. I’m saying that’s a bit of a generalization and by the same logic you can say the same thing about every trans builder (or manufacturer of anything)
I beat the shit out of my ATS trans doing time attack with 800+whp for multiple laps at a time on tracks with .6-.7 mile straights with 0 issues, so I’m not sure that one failure means it’s not reliable or not proven.
I know people with Pure trans that have failed in much less difficult...

Next event I'll hook up the helmet cam and so I finally get some real footage to post as well
Almost made StreetMod a real competition last weekend but my...
I literally buy whatever is cheapest and chuck them on the car for time attack without ever cleaning anything etc. Never even have the slightest problem.
Stance magic is great too.
Don’t run HC+ on a track car. Think of those as “oem+” pads that you would use in the same scenario as oem pads.
yeah it’s okay if you’re a first timer at HPDE and you’re slow and street tires, but if you put those on a track car they will melt.
