Interesting FEMTO seem read writes and does the checksum. some ecu mod seem available but I would prefer to have a personal ecu mod.
I am afraid of standard ecu mod.
I never said it would be easy. :dunno:
Otherwise I would not go through an engineer to do it
The new ecu in fact a very large number of maps. once cracker it will be necessary to identify an update them and that is not easy indeed.
But I know some passionate who will be happy to do it ..
I know a lot of computer engineer.
I do not care about the ecu it will be very quickly craked.:p
:hmm:what worries me the most is the characteristics engine:
compression ratio, stroke, boring, allowable torque of the car box.
I would not be surprised if the engine has nothing special. toyota and bmw each patent if they combine they could make an exceptional engine.
I just think that if Toyota makes the engine reliable allows it to have a strong power if you change without internal engine change I'm interested...
For the 340i b58 only 3 parts are identical to other bmw engines.
For more explanation see https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=1277450&d=1441950445
It's my job to find the differences between the mechanical parts.:nixon:
For those who doubt about the new BMW high cylinder
We can also see the attachment of the exhaust manifold and the manifold on the new z4.
which is not posible on the b58 340i with an identical angle.
