Badly I think toyota want used the same gearbox for all this supra gr for decreased cost .
Increasing the power would involve changing the gearbox .. for a minimum ZF8HP75-> 750N·m or ZF8HP95 ->950N·m.
I just saw that the auto box is a ZF-8HP51HIS.
The number 51 indicate the max torque of the gearbox 510 N.m
It is rather not bad as it seems to be instal also on the 4 cylinders.
But for the 6 cylinder it is really limited in case of engine cheaptuning.
Not being an expert in the automatic...
I just saw that the specs of 4 cylinders are strangely specs of the current BMW.
20i engine for the 184Ch, 30i for the 252ch, 40i for the 335Ch.
I think that this information is correct indeed the values given by BR perf are below what has been leaked the supplier of gearbox.
But why reveal both...
For me with eu spec
Supra gr 4cylindres 184hp 260N/m 35k€
Supra gr 4cylindres 252hp 350N/m 45k€
Supra gr 6cylindres 325hp 450N/m 55k€
Supra grmn 6cylindres to expensive produce only went toyota win some race. Same gap between Nissan GT-R and gtr nismo ...
The black colors transferring more faster the heat.
If Toyota used simple an intercoller and not and watercoler it’s better for produce more power :flame:
It’s more easier to change this litle intercoller by a a big intercoller ;)
More easier than this ...
The 3 liter specs are still not displayed on be-perf. I just asked them when the cars will be on sale and if they had the values of the eventual 3 liters.
This photo shows that they have sought to optimize the mass of hunts.
Some thought it was a composite hull as on i3 bmw but it is not allow to use the composite for the car to compete in chamipona endurance in Japan.
I think it looks like an aluminum hunt.
Hence the reduction of significant weight.
Do you think I'm asking BRperf when the car will be on sale to do the GR supar stage 1 or I'm waiting for them to publish L6 stage 1? If the l6 it exists...
