Just a guess, but I'd imagine at least 25% of the people that are really following this wouldn't really be interested in custom tuning if there wasn't scarcity. I'd guess another 25% wouldn't be in any huge hurry if it was widely available at $2500. There are solutions that get you 450whp...

Just saw a fool on Facebook got his DME smashed by Viscunti and then was shut down in any attempts to have it rectified. At this point you deserve it if you give them money, I almost hope they screw you over.

Uh not really, just find a B58 vehicle and crash into it with a beater, then offer to buy the DME for $500 as they're coming to their senses and climbing out of the car.
