Thanks for the tip, I was able to find some Permatex plastic weld. Got it applied with a thin tip screwdriver, and then used an xacto knife to remove just enough material to get the connector to click in
I asked for the company's policy on all three titles. Salvage, rebuilt, and washed/clean. In Allstate's eyes, all three are the same. Once it's salvaged, It's salvage forever.
When I checked with my allstate agent before buying a salvage/rebuilt car, here's the direct quote:
"Allstate will only insure a vehicle that has been salvaged (total loss) for liability coverage only. If you add a car that has been a total loss and is technically a salvaged vehicle, I can't...
So to follow up on this, the downpipe had very little effect on top end VolEff, so the cylinder head or hotside appears to be the bottleneck there. However, the JB4 got quite confused on that first drive. Out of curiosity, I ran map 1 with default duty bias table, and still no go. The ECU was...
Interesting, has anyone tried it on here yet? I see a few bimmerpost threads, but they're all from 2017 or so (so the cars are probably ~2014 models).

there are other benefits as well, I think someone may have oversimplified it (leading to some debate) but you do get a mild boosting effect when injection occurs fully after intake valve close.
i think the issue is that there is a lack of information either way. until someone publishes a YouTube vlog of daily driving around town, there's no way to evaluate the drivability.
Do you have a picture with the strap removed or the hole spacing? and what did you use to cut? i was thinking oscillating multi tool to get a clean line, but Im nervous about plunging it in too deep
