    Those aren’t mufflers, they are the drone cancelling bits. There are no mufflers on the touring version.

    So CarPlay doesn’t program on the home screen like I thought it might. (I may be the only person who thinks it’s pointless so I don’t use it.) But I did find where you can program it in the media menu.

    Not able to do a little video at the moment, however, after you choose the tire pressures from the menu push the iDrive knob to the left. From there just highlight the screen you want to program and choose/hold the button down. For CarPlay I would assume just highlight it on the home screen...

    Make some out of wood. 2.25” x 1.25” x 0.875” fit nicely in the middle of the jack points with some wood sticking out.

    Yep, for everyone, if you get the message that something can’t be programmed just try backing up a step and trying it there. Seems weird but that’s how they set it up.

    Yes, don’t select it from the menu. Just “highlight” it as if you were going to select it and hold the button you want to assign it to.
