Have just been for a spirited drive around Holmfirth, West Yorkshire this evening choosing the sweeping curvy roads, with hardly any traffic on, it was fab. Manual gearbox was sweet as a nut, love the rev matching and loads of power on tap, more than enough for Uk roads.
So out of interest...
True enough both are great, I guess there was not enough changes on the revised model to warrant another Auto review. I've had both the Auto first, then I sold my manual mx5 and wanted another manual, so the Supra manual was just the ticket
I think the Autoexpress review was praising it, just written and researched in a generic lack of detail way they seem to do a lot of their guides. Howver this is a much better one from them Supra Youtube review - Autoexpress.
That final edition Supra Autocar ,mentions, I would be surprised if...
From your user name, I guess you had a celica 190, I never had one of these but often thought of getting the T-Sport one. Years ago I had the 3rd and 4th gen one's with pop up lights, the one that escaped me was the 5th gen with the Turbo the GT-4, still think they look great now
There's 2 on Autotrader at the moment, one of them has been on a while started near 52k, now just pver 50k, with 18k miles, however there's one at 2k less with half the mileage, neither of which have sold. I guess if you want that lovely blue colour your happy to pay the premium, if not there...
Yes but thats the same with all the editions, the A90 edition is rarer and arguably more unique colour combo, comes with all the extras plus matte paint too. The Jarama one on Autotrader at 51k is virtually the price oif when it was new which i think was 52k, Supras do seem to hold their values...
Out of interest only, but this edition is a great car as are all Supras but how comes these ones sell for such a premium over much newer and Pro spec Supras? Compared to a Pro spec they dont have HUD, the JBL etc. They are admittently in a lovely shade of blue, have black wheels and a bit of...
I probably did nt word it right, I meant how many Supra owners member on the supramkv forum are in the UK? As an aside i think its great there's only a 1000 or so Supras Cars in the the, makes it a rarity.
I would keep your car too, I think its one of the best limited editions, love the phantom...
I came across this article in Autocar by chance at the weekend, the Supra acquits itself quite well - about time too!
Toyota GR Supra manual 2023 long-term test
I like the Corvette, never seen one in the UK tho. The Hyundai gets rave reviews over here for an electric car, my practical car is a Cupra Formentor VZ2, not sure if they have them in the US? similar performance to the Supra but 4 wheel drive and so practical. Have the best of both worlds with...
