As @JRedMKV said, they're around 100 lbs each. I haven't weighed them, but they're heavy. I bought the official hangers with the intention of hanging them on the wall (with the wheels on the ground to support the weight), but before I got the hangers in the mail I just stored them under the...
I'm not sure if it's normal, but mine always lopes a little when returning to idle before smoothing out. That's with an intake, turboback, and E50 tune.
The advantage is that it feels and looks much better than the thin garbage from the factory. As for which is the best, pretty much all of them come from the same factory in China so it doesn't really matter. I got a custom one from VQ Carbon Customs and have no complaints.
Why what? Why go with a single exit exhaust? Or why sell this bumper cover?
If it’s the former, some people like the look or the sound of a single more than a dual. Whatever the reason, the fact is there are many single exit exhausts on the market, and they sell well.
If it’s the latter...
No way of knowing from the date. It wouldn’t have been locked when it was originally sold, but if it’s been back to the dealership for any reason it’s possible they could have done an update and locked it then. No matter the case, it will be unlockable, it’s just a question of cost.
Installed the HKS Super Turbo exhaust, Maxton v3 lip, A90Shop hood vents, and NVSpec CF cubby.
I also installed the Twisted Tuning transmission mounts, but I only made it about 5 miles into my test drive before I had to go back home and swap the stock mounts back in, holy crap those things are...
Well yeah, because the whole point of lower compression is so you can run more timing and boost. If you detune it so it’s running the same timing and boost as the higher compression engine, then the lower compression engine will make less power.
Yes, the point is that the car has tables to allow the tuner to compensate for IAT, but unless the tuner actually tunes those tables properly, they don't do any good. You don't need separate maps for different seasons, but you do need the compensation tables to be adjusted properly, which...
lol, you have a catless downpipe, that's not "stock exhaust" my dude. I have an aftermarket catted downpipe and the exhaust is significantly louder than when it was stock, catless would be even louder than that.
You put an illegal part on your car and got caught, that's all there is to it.
Plenty of dynos showing that you do get good gains with a catback on a stage 2 car, upwards of 30 whp. Not at the peak though, mostly at the top end of the RPM range, it just keeps the power from dropping off as quickly near redline and widens the powerband.
My catback just shipped! It's the Super Turbo rather than the Hi Power, but it had similar lead time issues. I ordered it back in August and it finally shipped today
