Yep.....I did pay for the Supra maintenance which has it covered for 100K and all non-wear maintenance is no cost including oil changes....didn't get duped as it was offered and I accepted(could have said no). May be overpriced and I don't doubt that but it's good for as long as I plan on having...
First, like @SupraMKV2.0 , the wing on White is gorgeous!!!!!!! Really POPS!!!!!!!
Now, the fun stuff. Still waiting to get to break-in and get oil changed and have everything checked out and then get windows tinted. I have Nocturnal and don't think the wing would make mine POP like you...
Yep......that realization was about 25% of my decision to get the 2.0., 15% was the nearly $8K saved vs a similar equipped 3.0, and the other 60% was I wanted a Supra....;)
You can feel that 50/50 in the curves.......
TBH, who doesn't want more power???? Even if I had a Dodge Demon with all that power, at some point, I would probably ask for more.....;)
I just want my D@MN NAV system to work!!!!!!!!!!!! Had the car two weeks and multiple phone calls and not a single service person has resolved......Time to call corporate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1:thumbsup:
Hmmmmmmm........
I put 50K on mine before having to get rid of it (needed a couple extra seats). It was my daily driver until it was gone.......didn't get more practical than that but I do see your point. Practicality only flew out the window when kid was born.....
Took the damn words right out of my mouth!!!!!!!!!!! As I have said before, last car that I could not wait to get in was an FD RX-7. I may have a crappy day at work but when I leave, the smile comes on because I know what I am getting ready to get into.....I bought what felt right for me.....not...
To me, the Toyota emblem looks better on the round steering wheel.....
May be a weird observation but didn't you just get the car???? How long after you signed the paperwork, did the "bitch gremlins" come out?????:D
Is this with/or without doors locked? Was told at dealer that power to stuff like that does not completely shut off unless the car is locked. My radar does shot off when I lock the doors even if I don't turn it off by the switch....
Mine was silver and I did have to have the manifold housing replaced (under warranty, this contained to turbos) but other than a little oil consumption, not to be confused with current Supra issues, revving that thing to 8K redline was a blast!!!! Smooth as butter.....service tech told me when...
Absolutely on the numbers.....lol
There is one extra fun factor for the 2.0........most non-diehard Scatpack, Camaro SS, Mustang 5.0, drivers can't tell the difference between the 2.0 and 3.0 Supra at a glance. Since having the car, many have pulled up on my bumper even though still breaking it...
I used to think the same thing and even had a couple of "back and forth" with him but at the end of the day, he duped me and I fell for it......now it's just a good laugh....LOL
Back on topic.....my last manual was a 3rd gen FD RX-7 that was an ABSOLUTE SYMPHONY OF EMOTIONS to drive. Best car I...
yep......
Neither for or against a manual. Like other posts, I would rather see the targa than a manual. Be that as it may, all you need to look at is the fact that the new C8 does NOT come in a manual and it all came down to economics. They just didn't make money sense to GM. Most Corvette...
None of the dealers in my area are offering a d@mn thing. WHEW!!!!!! bought mine 2 weeks ago and the incentives basically covered my 'Safety/technology" package upgrade. Now, those puppies are going for FULL MSRP. All 3.0 premiums are no less than 57 - 58K.
