Just looked back at the potato pics on the site. I see that it's a 2 piece wheel with a CF barrel. So likely they weigh about 20 lbs for the front and 21 lbs for the rear.
OG OEM wheels weighed 24 and 25 pounds.
Magnesium wheels are the real winner. Monoblock mag wheels at 19 x 9 only weigh...
$10K+ for CF wheels is completely normal.... Don't understand why people are getting upset about this.
$13,000 for CF Wheels is a steal. Normally they are easily $24K+ for premium brands.
Also the performance gains from CF wheels is significant when compared to aluminum wheels on the same...
Modern encryption requires quantum computing to be cracked.
The previous Bosch ECUs became fully unlocked because of an insider threat. Maybe someone can discover an unknown vulnerability/backdoor or another method of bypassing authentication procedures that doesn't require cloning to older...
Behind the scenes clip from the videoshoot. The pull wasn't too aggressive since the dump tubes weren't all out blasting. But you can hear a nice woosh sound from them. The T51R mod also sounds nice. The end product will have way better sound.
Got 3 sets of Kia Stinger oil filters and enough oil for 3 services. The new turbo in the Supra has been gobbling up oil. Hopefully this helps a bit.
Don't mind the chicken.
I would go single exit, but they all sacrifice ground clearance from what I've seen. Seems a bit too impracticle for me. Saw a single exit supra at C&C and heard it scraping on a speed bump. Same thing with Boost Logic setups. Those things sound like they are getting destroyed.
I am sure there...
It's all bullshit until it's not.
Tired of hearing the same old same old.
I hope this time it is true just so these companies stop spreading false hope to people.
I'll be impressed if they were able to snag the key from someone at Bosch. But if this is another cloning process then the price...
Got my first video shoot of the car this weekend. Hopefully we can get some good shots of the car. I'll make sure to get all the loud noises in the video.
It is a downgrade when looking at performance metrics. "Fun" is subjective. I have fun with chasing performance.
Only reason I ever preferred manual was because they used to be the best for that.
Juice isn't worth the squeeze. When I was younger I did a transmission swap on my 3000GT. I can't imagine how much of a headache that would be now.
And plus, back then I did it for better performance. I can't imagine downgrading yourself on a transmission swap on top of paying an ungodly amount...
Yeah. The HSM. That's what I was saying is that you just can't go off by the date.
I wouldn't be surprised if they some find a way to implement daily rotated keys into ECUs if they haven't done so already. I don't know much about how security works in the auto industry.
My ECU is 06/06/2020 and was locked. I don't think I've come across a single 06/2020 ECU that could be unlocked. I've only heard talk of it without any proof whatsoever. Unless you've had someone actually attempt to unlock it, you won't know.
I had a reputable tuning company's sales rep...
