Yeah BMW isn't going to have an M2 that competes with the M4. Unless it's some sort of comp package that costs more than an M4. Their product tiers are clearly delineated.
What? GRMN Yaris not good enough for you??
http://newsroom.toyota.eu/toyota-at-the-2018-geneva-international-motor-show/ Still says modern racing concept, most iconic sportscar.... we'll see.
BMW interiors aren't bad, they're just a little boring.
I very much doubt we're getting anything resembling that glorious FT1 interior. But I'd love to be surprised.
Yeah I'll take leather over alcantara. At least on the wheel and gearshift. Pref perf leather. Alcantara wears down...

March 28 and 29.
Some manufacturers like to do a pre-show launch, so maybe 26th, 27th?
Hopefully in any event, by the end of March.
GTR so oooollld.
Back in 2008 when they hit I would have killed for one. Now that I've finally got the money, it's a decade old, don't really want it anymore, especially at the much bigger price. :p
Whatever the successor is though, it'll surely be a monster. But who knows when we'll get it.
The leaked specs (if we can trust them) are ho-hum.
Looks wise I have a lot of hope for this car. But as a package, from what we know right now, it's a far, far cry from FT1 which was a legitimate 911 S, Corvette, GTR competitor.
I agree though, still going to wait and see.
Not to offend anybody here, but IMO the folks who are saying they'd be happy paying $55k for a ~335 horsepower Supra don't come across as real buyers.
Again, not to single anyone out, but the general theme I get from people (in this thread and others, on this forum and elsewhere) who like to...
Will all those things come standard on Supra?
Obviously not PDK, or a manual. Still praying that all the intel is wrong on that one and Toyota decides not to cheap out.
M2 starts at $54,500, Cayman at $55,300. It has to be less than that. From all we have heard, sounds like those two are the closest competitors. If you look at Vettes and Mustangs, 370Z, even in the $40s it's pretty uncompelling. Sure you can spend $100k on a Cayman, but a loaded M2 is still...
You can buy an MDX "sport hybrid" for about $50k. And all the articles said it's got the NSX hybrid system.
But for seriouslies you get over 300 horsepower and way more physical car in the MDX. $10k more for another 100 horsepower and substantially less car doesn't seem that far...
1) Those front vents just look like solid patterned plastic to me. There are a lot of cars with that sort of thing going on, including Toyota products. Of course, it's not a perfect shot so I could be seeing it wrong.
But more importantly, 2) what would be the purpose of the rear vents? I...
