Yeah I don't think the production car will feature a large fixed wing. Makes me think of that Forbes article again with the report of getting some racing trim car.
"A modern racing concept."
Ugh will this even mean anything??
I hope we at least get a name and a real face.
Nevertheless I'll be glued to the screen 3:45 EST on the 6th.:D:eek::D
Looks to be similar size to that old Saturn, and those things are small. Also that Scion XB whatever is not exactly a large vehicle.
I think it's hugging the left line, so the car appears even smaller in that spot.

What looks like three variations for compact, mid-size and rear-drive/lux.
I forget that stuff like Highlander is basically a Camry. If you drive a new Highlander and a new Camry, they really do ride...
WHOA WHOA WHOA, hold it, junior. That Lexus 4.6L V8 is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT and WAY MORE REFINED than the Toyota 4.6L V8. We know this because the marketing department slapped "PREMIUM FUEL ONLY" on the Lexus 4.6.
I'd definitely consider one of these to replace my Lexus GX one day.
A Raptor SUV would be even better.
Hopefully Bronco looks as cool as the fan renders.
You gotta change those transmission settings bruh. Can't leave it in Sporty Puristic 6 all day long. ;)
E92 drives like a normal automatic if you put it in the softer settings. At least mine did. :dunno:
Seriously though, I suspect either the car you drove was left in one of those...
Because that's what the FT1 promised. The words "BIG POWER" literally came from the horse's mouth, Akio Toyoda. One of the reasons this car got the green light was because how impressed Toyoda was with the performance, how he could beat the LFA time around Fuji in the simulator.
Second...
At least we know something. All of that info sounds believable.
Finally it comes out that this car is essentially just a BMW, far cry from "co-developed." On all of the prototypes/mules, I had assumed all of the interior would eventually be Toyota-sourced. I mean, it's not quite a Honda...
I actually prefer a dual clutch to a stick, regardless of traffic. Putting it in auto mode is a nice bonus but not really the attraction for me. I'm not really aiming for lap times either.
Stick shift is fun but IMO it's distracting, and I find it unsettles the car in a turn. I used to...
I've driven several 7 speed boxes and never found that an issue. Hell Porsche has been offering a 7 speed manual for awhile now. I remember Jeremy Clarkson complaining about gear hunting in a Lexus 8spd auto years ago but I think automatics have gotten better. 10 might be a lot though for...
That is strange. The getrag units in BMWs are maintenance-free. I believe graziano units and Porsche's PDK requires a fluid change, but I don't have any personal experience. Fluid services are still likely far cheaper than clutch replacements.
1st - always love the strange google translation.
2nd - $90k++ for the GR model? Sounds like a BMW CS car, slight bump in performance and 50% more price. Pretty lame. And I somehow doubt we'll get the car here in the states. Double lame. But hey at least we've got a good idea that it...
The bigger thing IMO is that once you're in that $50k-$60k price range, looking at a car that's trying to compete head-to-head with a Porsche Cayman, for literally the same money you just go and buy the Porsche. Not its economy brand competitor. I know the Supra nameplate carries some panache...
