Thanks man! And yeah it's wild!
Speaking of 7hrs, I drove around that to see gridlife up at Limerock. Hopefully sometime next year I can make my way up there and drive it! I keep seeing videos from you a Peter and it seems fun. Simple, but fun. That and Club motorsports are on the list.
Ugh that sucks, yeah in hindsight I would have gone to Ohlins to begin with, but I also didnt want to start shoveling a butt load of money at the car until I figured out what it needed. Super excited to try them out though!
Thanks dude! Honestly this is the first car I've actually tracked seriously with, so as I'm pushing more and more I am definitely finding them to be a bit too soft. I imagine when I add a wing and splitter it'll only get worse. But tbh if you are new to tracking or want a forgiving road/track...
Thanks man! I can 100% recommend Pitt race, its a fantastic track. facilities are great, the track surface itself is really smooth, and the elevation change is really fun. Lmk if you are ever up my way, we'll have to meet up!
Also dude, seats changed my world ? I no longer have neck pain from...
Just wanted to share my new PB at Pitt Race full course - 1:58.71! Definitely more time in it as the car currently sits. Feels pretty good when a Supra on stock power runs 2 seconds faster than a handful of GT4s and some 911s ;)
Build list is in the description, TL;DR stock power, HKS Springs...
Ayeeee he's back!!
Question for you.... nah just kidding.
Good to see 5 track days on one oil change made zero difference. I'm a bit paranoid (prior subaru STI owner if that tells you anything) so I do mine every 2 events.
On another note, as others have said most people barely research...
Ordering a part is not a bad idea too, although I leave Wednesday morning next week so not sure about shipping. But! I think I found a solution. The little A-pillar trim piece on the passenger side would be perfect!
Essentially these:
Hey everyone!
I'll be headed to Japan next week and am planning on visiting Max Orido's Garage/130R Yokohama in the hopes of meeting him, picking up some merchandise, and ultimately getting a part of my supra signed. The question I have is, what should I take with me? I'm having a tough time...
For those running harnesses, what are you actually mounting them to? I've started considering a rollcage but haven't done a ton of research other than knowing that studio RSR's cage is ? and the cusco harness bar might as well be bolted to tissue paper.
Seems like WalkerPro, Dashbuilt, and...
I installed a Recaro Pole Position with a $10 Amazon inflatable lumbar pillow and its fantastic. I was constantly fighting with throttle commitment going through the S's at Pitt race cause I had to brace myself. With the seat it totally changed my world. I could suddenly feel movement in the...
The whole "recalibration" thing for a lot of sensors is a load of BS imo. There are many sensors/cameras/systems that can dynamically calibrate on the road that it makes me wonder why some still require a static calibration. And why someone can't do a static calibration themselves without buying...
Ideally you would want to for the added pedal feel and added safety in the event of on-track debris. Although I wouldn't let running OEM lines keep you from tracking. I did 2 events on OEM lines without any issues.
As far as a how-to, any ss line install video on YT should do. I dont believe...
