  1. What did you do to your Supra today?

So what you're saying is, we gotta take a page from the rotary playbook and premix? ?
  2. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Gotcha! Makes total sense. I'll reach out to Jackie and 3DM to get some insight. I'll primarily be on Pitt race and NE tracks. Pitt race is preeeeetty damn smooth....although Pittsburgh is quite the opposite haha. So maybe the default spring rates might be the go to. I don't have any SPL goodies...
  3. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I've been looking into Ohlins a bit more and it seems like the general consensus is that people think the spring rates are a bit too soft. Have you ever switched to swift springs? I think the ideal setup would be Ohlins R/T and swift/hyperco springs from my reading.
  4. Springs vs coils vs bags

No worries man! Looking forward to seeing ya progress! Check out the "race tracking your supra" thread. There's tons of great info there.
  5. New parts for 2023-2024

I'm currently working on a lip design rn. I actually 3d printed a whole Aimgain replica, used jt as a plug for a fiberglass mold, and made an aimgain fiberglass lip from said mold....and then promptly ripped it off on track cause I used too small rivnuts hahah
  6. Springs vs coils vs bags

10000% agree with decodeddiesel. If this is your first performance car I also HIGHLY recommend you try out a few autocross events. They're a great intro into not only performance driving but also how your car behaves. Typically super low risk, you spin out or overcook a corner, worst that can...
  7. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I'd like some input from some of the senior track guys... So this year was my first time ever tracking a car seriously. Ive been on Pitt Race ~6 times and once on Nelson Ledges. Other than that I've done tons and tons of autoX days and a track sprint or 2. I've been collecting data, re-watching...
  8. What Front Lip You Rocking?

Thanks man! It was quite the learning process but I'm glad I did it. I still have the mold if I want to try again but I've decided to go with a different route and get a chassis mount splitter/air dam. If you get any lip, personally I would just get s fiberglass one. It will be MUCH easier to...
  9. B58 Air-to-Oil cooler retrofit from M340i

Are you stock?? Even on the hottest days I dont think I've gone past 255/260.
  10. What Front Lip You Rocking?

Well, I was running a fiberglass Aimgain replica lip I made from scratch via a 3d printed plug and a mold......but it flew off on track. https://www.supramkv.com/threads/diy-fiberglass-aimgain-lip.17400/ Make sure you use big enough rivnuts kids ?
  11. Broken carbon fiber lip

Fixable? Yes. Will it look pretty? Hard to say. If you have access to the inside of the lip I would reinforce the inside with chopped strand and resin. Try to chamfer the edges of the crack and fill it to the point that it is close to level with the last layer of the lip and sand down the clear...
  12. Springs vs coils vs bags

I guess it depends on what you intend for the car, but personally I STARTED with springs. Since my car is 60% track, 40% street I planned on getting coilovers at some point but I wanted to slowly build up to that. Its fun to see how the car changes and evolves overtime. I also had other things...
  13. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

VERY interested in hearing where you got this! Before you install it would you be able to photoscan/3d scan it? I could print replicas and such.
  14. Speed Engineering A90 Supra Brake Duct Review

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give an update now that I've had the Speed Engineering brake ducts on for 2 events and about 5000 miles of mixed spirited/highway/city driving. This time out I was probably the most comfortable I've been in the car and managed to get a number of clean laps and...
  15. What did you do to your Supra today?

Just a lil post track day inspection feat. My housemate's s2k
  16. New Magnetic Paddle Shifter Options!

They switched manufacturing processes. The $250 ones were solid aluminum. The $100 ones are the newer ones made from a carbon/nylon mix and are 3d printed.
  17. Anyone running Fortune Auto coilovers?

From what I've read, the 510s and up seem to get pretty good feedback on most chassis, although I don't think I've seen an A90 with them. The 500s I've heard mixed stuff on however. On a price comparison basis they seem like a pretty good starting point, although I plan on ordering from Cygnus...
